Energy and Mines

Hole A:  Fine-grained light greenish grey metasediments with
possible bedding  or lamination;  fine-grained  disseminated
pyrite dispersed throughout.

Hole B:  Fine-grained white  to grey  intermediate to  mafic
metavolcanic rock; abundant disseminated pyrite.

Hole C: Fine-grained grey metasediment with possible bedding
or lamination; abundant disseminated pyrite.

Hole D: Green to light green coarse-grained massive gabbro.

Hole E:  Light pink  to  dark  grey  coarse-grained  massive
melanocratic pegmatitic granite; strongly magnetic.

Hole F: no unweathered rock recovered.

Hole G:  Pale pink  to light  grey  fine  to  coarse-grained
biotite-feldspar-quartz gneiss.

Hole H:  Light grey  very coarse-grained  massive  pegmatite
with occasional pyrite blobs.

Hole  I:  Green  very  fine-grained  mafic  metavolcanic  to
ultramafic rock with white feldspar phenocrysts.

Hole J:  Greenish-grey very fine-grained felsic metavolcanic
rock.

Hole K: Whitish-grey medium grained massive granodiorite.

Hole L:  Light to dark-grey fine to medium-grained feldspar-
quartz-biotite  gneiss  mixed  with  medium-grained  massive
granite.

Hole M:  Light to dark-grey fine to medium-grained feldspar-
quartz-biotite  gneiss  mixed  with  medium-grained  massive
granite.

Hole N: No unweathered rock recovered

Hole O:  Orange to  green medium  to coarse-grained slightly
foliated strongly magnetic granodiorite to granite.

Hole P: reddish mudstone, carbonate, and gypsum

Hole Q: carbonate

Hole R: gypsum
Hole S: carbonate

Hole T: carbonate

Hole U: Slightly rusty orange to grey fine to medium-grained
massive strongly magnetic granodiorite.

Hole V: carbonate

Hole W: shale, sandstone
